BEMUS POINT — Behind a 40 from medalist Evan Steffen, Maple Grove posted a pair of wins in a Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association Division 1 golf match at Bemus Point Golf Course on Wednesday.

The Red Dragons (14-9, 9-8) defeated Chautauqua Lake/Westfield and Clymer/Sherman/Panama by identical 38-17 scores. Chautauqua Lake/Westfield defeated Clymer/Sherman/Panama 31-24 in the other match.

Leading the way for the Eagles (10-15, 5-10) was Carson Swanson with a 42. Tate Catanese paced Clymer/Sherman/Panama (10-15, 5-10) with a 42.

Maple Grove: Evan Steffen 40, Gavin Rodgers 42, Baylor Hiliman 42, Ryan Lockwood 42, Jonah Foley 42.
