Swanson’s 81 leads Asquith Senior Tour

WARREN, Pa. — Keith Swanson shot an 81 to lead the Asquith Senior Tour during its stop at Jackson Valley Golf Course.

In the White A Flight, Dave Wordleman led the way with an 84. Bob Huber was plus-3, while Randy Herron was plus-2 and Henry Johnson was minus-2.

Mark Digirolamo led the White B Flight with an 89. Ron Wilson and Jim Hale were both plus-1, while Bob Burlingame was even-0.

Swanson’s 81 led the Gold A Flight. Gary Ruch and Jack Brunco were plus-1, while Swanson was even-0.

Alan Ludwick’s 87 paced the Gold B Flight. Dan Barry was plus-9, while Pete Pascatore and Ludwick were both plus-1.

Bruce Dudgeon shot a 92 to lead the Gold C Flight. Bruce Dudgeon, Russ Vacanti and Larry Eidens were all minus-3.

Jeff Robinson’s 101 led the Gold D Flight. John Depew was plus-1, while Don Maloney and Clyde Mohl were each minus-3.

Closest-to-the-pin honors went to Bill Cross at No. 2, Digiloramo at No. 6, David Fiore at No. 8, Brian Shannon at No. 12 and Ludwick at No. 15.

The tour will stop at Maplehurst Country Club in Lakewood on Monday before heading to Chautauqua Golf Club’s Lake Course on June 10.
