The second annual Jamestown New York High School Baseball Showcase returned to Diethrick Park on Tuesday. Twenty-eight participants from 16 high schools across the region took part in the event. Coaches from Canisius College, SUNY Niagara, Corning Community College, Jamestown CC, the University of Pittsburgh-Bradford, Fredonia State University, Houghton University and the University of Penn State-Behrend were in attendance. Organizer Shane Marucci of M.C. Baseball Training wanted to thank Sofia Genareo, Matt Hair, Aaron Hair, Eric Haglund and Kameron Melendez for their assistance in putting on the event.
