Travis Butcher tossed a one-hitter with eight strikeouts during his season debut on the mound as the Stuart Tool & Die A’s beat the Express Employment Professionals Blue Jays 18-0 in the Chautauqua Men’s Senior Baseball League.

Butcher also had a pair of doubles and three RBIs at the plate for the A’s. Trent Gray added three hits, while Brandon Shelters and Gib Stuart each chipped in a pair of hits as Stuart Tool & Die totaled 12 hits.

Jared Aiken took the loss and Kobe DeJesus had the lone hit for the Blue Jays.
