The Stuart Tool & Die A’s beat the Westfield Auto Body Pirates 11-5.

The A’s pounded out 11 hits against Westfield starting pitcher Nolan Hunt to take over sole possession of first place in the league.

Trent Gray, Dustin Uhlman and Trevor Spicer each had two hits to pace the A’s at the plate.

Travis Butcher went 6 2/3 innings and struck out 13 Pirates to notch the win with Brian Gunnell earning the save.

The Express Employment Professionals Blue Jays beat the Coughlan’s Pub Yankees 11-0.

The Blue Jays were led offensively by Devaun Farnham, who hit a three-run home run in the firsrt inning. Gavin Page and Nelson Rivera (double) also collected two hits apiece for the Blue Jays, who totaled 11 hits.

Defensively, the Blue Jays were led by winning pitcher Jared Aiken, who dazzled the opposition by scattering only four hits over the complete game.
