Unique prize chest at Bart’s Cove Walleye Contest

The 2024 WNY Walleye Cup Series standing that incorporates the certified catch weights of walleye competitors across the multiple walleye tournaments that vie from the Chautauqua County access ports on Lake Erie to find the winningest angler.
In the many Lake Erie summertime walleye tournaments welcomed from the hub of Chautauqua County boat access ports, anglers enter to fish for fun, cash, and great prizes. Sometimes, it can be a big trip, a new boat, big money, and bonus money.
This upcoming weekend (July 27-28), the Integrity Walleye Tournament Series (IWT) continues with tournament 2 of the 2-contest event plan put together by Mark Mohr and Bob Rustowicz – two walleye wizards with whitebeard experience of how to catch the biggest and most fish. Just hanging around these guys can provide most novice anglers with a bucketful of essential tips. The first part of this IWT series from Bart’s Cove earlier this summer was canceled (June 29-30) due to inclement weather. Bob Rustowicz was the tournament director in that one. Mark Mohr is the Director for IWT-2.
The IWT series is also part of the 2024 WWCS, the WNY Walleye Cup Series. The series incorporates the certified catch weights of competitors across the multiple walleye tournaments that vie from the Chautauqua County access ports on Lake Erie to find the winningest angler, the local Lake Erie Walleye Champion. WNY Walleye Classic Tournament Director Josh Larsen initiated this idea for 2024, and competitors are on board with participation. See the illustration for current leaders and top 10 standings. The Northern Chautauqua Conservation Club tournament set for Aug. 2-4 will also be part of this walleye championship event.
This weekend, the Bart’s Cove IWT-2 event is a 2-day tournament with a $500 entry fee per boat, a 3 fish bag/day, with winners in the mix for some top prizes, including a vacation trip to fish in the Pacific Ocean. There is a big box prize for each day of $200 and a Big fish for each day prize of $200. If you are a late entry and not signed up yet, call Mark Mohr at 716-998-9871 for instructions on how to enter. This tournament event is a 100 percent payout event. Bob Rustowicz mentioned to me at the Sunset Bay Walleye Shootout that the IWT-1 and this tournament (IWT-2) prizes will be combined for the weekend tournament. That means big cash for top finishers. The weather looks favorable!
Gotta love the outdoors!
