Football is back and so is your favorite pigskin prophet. He’s the guy who declared back in February the Kansas City Chiefs would repeat as Super Bowl champs with a 4-point victory over the San Francisco 49ers. Two-point favorites, they won by three in overtime, 25-22. Pretty darn close. They didn’t need the extra point in OT or the pick would have been perfect.

The Chiefs have the season-opening battle tonight, taking on the Baltimore Ravens. Take the Chiefs in this one.

Come Sunday, look for Big 3 of area teams to fire up their fan bases with victories.

Expect the Buffalo Bills to debut with a home win over the travel-weary Arizona Cardinals, while the Cleveland Browns will make life miserable for the visiting Dallas Cowboys. Meanwhile, the Pittsburgh Steelers will surprise the Atlanta Falcons in one of the weekend’s rare upsets.
