Marauders roll past Albion 54-16
ALBION — Dunkirk didn’t mind its football road trip to Albion on Thursday night.
In fact, the Marauders loved the end result.
Sparked by the quarterback-receiver combination of Gabe Valentine and Paul Trippy and the rushing of Kingston Hall, the Marauders rolled to a 54-16 victory in a Class B3 game.
Valentine passed for 205 yards and two touchdowns, both to Trippy, who accumulated 155 receiving yards; Hall amassed 152 yards and two TDs on the ground; and Dylan Bankoski, Alex Sanchez, Aries Cheverz and Avery Krystofiak all found paydirt. Aries Cheverez led the defense for Dunkirk (1-4, 1-4) with two interceptions.
The Marauders are back in action a week from today on homecoming and Senior Night when they host Lewiston Porter at 7 p.m.
