Forestville girls fall to Franklinville
FORESTVILLE — Taylor Chase posted a double-double with 12 points, 13 rebounds and nine steals as Franklinville knocked off Forestville 47-36 in Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association Division 4 girls basketball action on Tuesday.
Grace Cornell provided another 11 points and five assists for the Panthers (10-4, 7-3) and Mya Sullivan also scored 11.
Forestville (6-7, 4-5) was led by Carilene Sliwa with 20 points, five rebounds and four steals and Liz Case collected eight rebounds and five steals.

BLACK KNIGHTS TOP MARAUDERS
DUNKIRK — Gracelin Stevens scored 22 points and collected five rebounds as Silver Creek defeated Dunkirk 59-32 in nonleague action.
Gracie Williams added another 13 points and three steals for the Black Knights (9-5), while Khloe Karnes scored 12 with six boards, three steals and two blocks and Maddy Blair had eight rebounds and three steals.
Dunkirk (0-16) was led by Emaladie Pacheco with 13 points and four rebounds, Ashley Collazo scored 10 points with four rebounds and Khloe Munson collected five boards and three steals.
PINE VALLEY DOWNS FREDONIA
SOUTH DAYTON — Danica Farnham posted a double-double with 15 points, 11 boards, seven steals and two blocks as Pine Valley beat Fredonia 52-36 in nonleague play.
Sandy Ivett added another 12 points and three boards for the Panthers (10-4) and Danielle West collected five steals.
Fredonia falls to 3-11 on the year with the loss.
