MARKHAM SHINES IN OLEAN

OLEAN — Roger Markham won four events to lead Falconer/Cassadaga Valley boys past Olean 91-50 in CCAA action.

Markham won the 100 and 200 meters with times of 11.64 and 26.91, before leaping to first in long jump at 20 feet and 9 inches and triple jump at 39-11.0. Gabe Lundmark was a triple winner claiming the distance events, winning the 800 at 2:23.84, the 1,600 at 5:28.58 and the 3,200 in 11:48.30.

Max Parmentier won both the high jump at 5-04 and the 400 in 57.80, while Charles Sundquist claimed the shot put with 40-10.50 and discus at 123-06.

Olean had a double-winner in Brennan Kielar taking the 110 and 400 hurdles at 19.39 and 1:04.17.

The Olean girls flipped the script with a 72-69 victory over the Golden Cougars.

Hannah Cheney led the Huskies with a pair of wins in the high jump at 4-9 and the 400 at 1:08.18.

Mary Lundmark was a triple-winner for Falconer/Cassadaga Valley claiming the 100 and 200 at 13.15 and 27.84, before a pole vault finish at 10-0.

TROJANS SWEEP CL/W/B

WEST ELLICOTT — Ryan Ohl won three events, while Donavin Brown and Connor Young each won twice to send Southwestern’s boys past Chautauqua Lake/Westfield/Brocton 108-33 in Division 1 action at the Fran Sirianni Athletic Complex.

Ohl took the 110-meter hurdles (16.6), 400-meter hurdles (1:04) and 200 meters (23.4); Brown claimed the 800 meters (2:19) and 1,600 meters (5:03); and Young captured the long jump (21-2) and triple jump (39-5) for the Trojans (2-0, 1-0).

Nick Jacobson won the 100 meters in 11.2 seconds for the lone individual win for the Eagles (0-1, 0-1).

In the girls meet, Kenzie Zavala, Emma Lewis, Marlana Cresanti and Ellie Pearson were all double winners for Southwestern in a 101-40 victory.

Zavala claimed the 100-meter hurdles and 400-meter hurdles (1:13.3); Lewis captured the 1,500 meters (4:54) and 3,000 meters; Cresanti took the 400 meters (1:00.6) and 200 meters (27.4); and Pearson won the long jump (15-5) and pole vault (8-0) for the Trojans.

GOWANDA — The Randolph boys and girls earned a pair of CCAA victories in Gowanda/Pine Valley.

Domanik Clark, Caden Inkley and Izaias Dowdy claimed two victories each in the Cardinals 85-50 victory. Clark won the 400-meter hurdles at 1:01.2 and the triple jump at 35-2, while Inkley claimed the 110-meter hurdles in 17.9 and the pole vault at 12-6, and Dowdy was victorious in shot put at 40-6 and discus at 108-8.

Chase Bolen was a triple winner for Gowanda/Pine Valley, finishing first in the 800 in 2:12.3, the 1,600 and the 3,200 at 11:35.0.

The Randolph girls were triumphant 76-61 thanks to a pair of wins by Gracyn Rowland in the 1,500 at 6:19.0 and 3,000 at 14:02.0.
