ELLICOTTVILLE — Logan Ruff went 2 for 4 with a home run and four RBIs as Gowanda beat Ellicottville 19-0 in five innings of Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association Division 3 baseball Tuesday.

Drew Kota had two hits, an RBI and a run scored; Blake Herman doubled, drove in two runs and scored twice; and Kyan Austin drove in three runs and scored twice to lead the Panthers (7-2, 5-0) on offense.

Carter Capozzi threw a three-hit shutout with six strikeouts and one walk on the mound.

Cameron Mendell, Rylan Benjamin and Ryan Norton each singled for the Eagles (2-5, 0-4).
