DUNKIRK — In consecutive days, Fredonia’s Ryan Kelly has left his mark on the course at Shorewood Country Club picking up medalist honors in Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association Division 1 play.

In Tuesday’s competition, Kelly fired 2-over on the par-36 course leading Fredonia to victory over Dunkirk 40-15 and Southwestern 40-15.

The Trojans were led by Ejuah Sarvaiya’s 47 as they defeated Dunkirk 36-19. The low score for the Marauders was Landon Thomas with a 53.

BRAINARD IS MEDALIST AT BREEZEWOOD

FALCONER — Channing Brainard fired a 41 on the par-36 course at Breezewood Links to claim medalist honors for Falconer in Division 1.

The Golden Falcons (4-6, 3-3) edged Cassadaga Valley 36-19 with Brainard’s top score of 41 and Jakob Huling leading the Cougars (1-7, 0-6) with a 49.

Southwestern (2-0, 2-0) earned the match victory as Elise Kartesz carded a 46 in the 32-23 victory against Fredonia (0-3, 0-3).
