Swanson, Steffen share medalist honors
BEMUS POINT — Evan Steffen of Maple Grove and Carson Swanson of Chautauqua Lake/Westfield shared medalist honors Wednesday at Bemus Point Golf Course as they both fired a 2-over 38 in a Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association golf match.
In team scores, Chautauqua Lake/Westfield (2-2, 1-1) defeated Maple Grove (1-4, 1-3) 31.5-23.5 and Cassadaga Valley 36-19, and lost to Olean 32-23; Olean also downed Maple Grove 30-25 and Cassadaga Valley 39-16; and Maple Grove edged Cassadaga Valley 29.5-25.5.
Cam Bartman and Adrian Bohdanowicz both shot a 43 for Olean (6-2, 3-2). Jackson Marsh registered a 46 to pace Cassadaga Valley (1-6, 0-3).

CASSADAGA — Jacelyn Wintersteen’s 1-over 36 paced Cassadaga Valley/Maple Grove to a 31-24 victory over Jamestown at Cassadaga Country Club.
Nilla Ecklof led the Red & Green with a 47.
The Cougars are 1-0 overall and 1-0 in the division, while Jamestown drops to 1-1, 1-1.
