RANDOLPH — Clymer/Sherman/Panama won the girls title and Maple Grove won the boys title at the Section VI Class D track and field championships hosted by Randolph on Thursday.

The Wolfpack girls finished with 155.5 points, led by six different individual winners and a pair of relays. Deidre Green captured the 1,500 meters (5:06.75), Finley Mitchell claimed the 400-meter hurdles (1:09.91), Solki Martin-Lacayo won the 800 meters (2:26.89), Grace Cooke took the 3,000 meters (11:37.96), Isa Kioko was victorious in the high jump (5-2) and Lily Johnson prevailed in the triple jump (34-1.75). Brooke Warner, Jayne Chambers, Tess Flikkema and Martin-Lacayo also won the 3,200-meter relay in 11:04.63 while Chambers, Matilyn Rhines, Flikkema and Martin-Lacayo won the 1,600-meter relay in 4:20.40.

The Red Dragons boys tallied 94 points, led by double-winner Ethan Verbosky in the 1,600 meters (4:26.70) and 800 meters (2:05.90). Rider Carlson also took the 400 meters (52.11). Maple Grove’s 3,200-meter relay of Jacob Lewis, Finn Erlandson, Owen Erlandson and Verbosky crossed the finish line first with a time of 8:51.58 while the Red Dragons’ 1,600-meter relay team of Carlson, Ty Kraft, Ty Oste and Verbosky won with a time of 3:29.12.

Frewsburg’s girls were second with 91 points, paced by Grace Lennon’s victory in the 100 meters (12.75) and Elayna Pitts’ victory in the pole vault (9-0). Frewsburg’s 400-meter relay team of Anelia Pitts, Addison O’Connor, Elli Seiberg and Lennon also won with a time of 52.87 seconds.

Clymer/Sherman/Panama’s boys were second with 87 points, led by Alex Barmore’s win in the 100 meters (11.58) and Gavin Krasa’s victory in the 200 meters (23.23).

Other event winners for the girls included: West Valley’s Olivia Harmony (2,000-meter steeplechase, 7:51.21), Maple Grove’s Sydney Simmons (100-meter hurdles, 16.82), Cattaraugus-Little Valley’s Emma Gassman (400 meters, 1:01.44); 200 meters, 26.10), Franklinville/Ellicottville’s Elizabeth Price (shot put, 32-8; discus, 116-1) and Wilson’s Isabella Thrush (long jump, 15-10).

Other event winners for the boys included: Frewsburg’s Cody Kent (3,000-meter steeplechase, 10:21.07), Wilson’s Ryan Hough (110-meter hurdles, 16.15; triple jump, 43-0.75; long jump, 21-8.5), Cattaraugus-Little Valley’s Bransen Gabel (400-meter hurdles, 57.84), West Valley’s Noah Klahn (3,200 meters, 9:59.96), Barker’s Wyatt Payne (discus, 139-10), Randolph’s Caden Inkley (pole vault, 14-6), Franklinville/Ellicottville’s Billy Slavinski (shot put, 45-10) and Holland’s Simon Brown (high jump, 5-8).
