Fredonia, Silver Creek softball dispatch league opponents

Callie Draggett hit a solo home run in the bottom of the second inning and Fredonia never looked back as it cruised past Southwestern 9-0 in Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association Division 1 softball action on Monday.
Danielle Palisin shined in the circle for Fredonia (11-3, 9-0) with six strikeouts and just five hits, then matched that at the plate going 3 for 4 in her own cause. Jenna Fryberger also hit 2 for 3 with a triple, Rihanna Benner finished 2 for 3 with a double and Leah Marsh went 2 for 2.
Alexis Beckerink went 2 for 3 with a double for the Trojans (5-6, 5-5), while Arianna Silakowski recorded eight strikeouts in the circle.
BLACK KNIGHTS EDGE BEARS
SILVER CREEK — Maddy Blair hit a double and a triple while going 2 for 4 with 2 RBIs and two runs scored as Silver Creek held off Frewsburg 10-7 in Division 3 on Senior Night.

Priya Sakpal went 2 for 3 with a double, RBI and three runs scored for Silver Creek (8-3, 7-2). Kimmy Bauer added another 3 RBIs going 2 for 4, while Rylee Weiskerger hit 2 for 4 with an RBI and four runs scored.
Cassidy Westbrook earned the win in the circle with two strikeouts and five earned runs.
The Frewsburg (0-11, 0-9) effort was led by Presleigh Stelmack hitting 2 for 4 with a pair of doubles and an RBI. Elysse Gruber added another 2 RBIs as did Ava Reale.
Teagan Nazario struck out nine in the circle for the Bears.

BROCTON — Quinn Pence collected three hits including a double and 2 RBIs as Randolph rolled Brocton 13-0 in Division 3.
Isabella Syracuse had two singles and an RBI, Sadie Steward stroked a single and a double with an RB I, Grace Arnold-Hill hit a single and 3 RBIs, Ryanne Bushey had a double and 2 RBIs, Aryana Sears doubled and Mallory Smallback hit two singles.
Aliza Hind struck out nine batters in the win for Randolph (8-5, 5-3).
Brocton (0-11, 0-8) was led by Joleena Doner and Zoe Spiller with a single each. Madison Sears added four strikeouts.
HORNETS STING
PINE VALLEY
SOUTH DAYTON — Carilene Sliwa hit 4 for 5 with 2 RBIs and two runs scored as Forestville rolled Pine Valley 16-1 in Division 3.
Kaylee Adamczak added 3 RBIs for Forestville (10-1, 7-1) going 2 for 2 with two runs scored and Madison Christian finished 2 for 4 with a pair of runs scored. Megan Gruber picked up the win after giving up just one earned run on two hits through seven innings of work with 13 strikeouts.
Pine Valley (5-8, 2-6) scored its lone run in the bottom of the first as Elizabeth Roland and Danielle West hit consecutive doubles. Danica Farnham took the loss in the circle, but struck out nine batters.
