SALAMANCA — Kenzie Crouse and Skyla Dowdy each had three hits apiece to lead No. 16 Salamanca past No. 17 Medina 16-7 in a Section VI Class B softball play-in qualifier Monday.

The Warriors will travel to McCarthy Park in Buffalo to take on top-seeded Olmsted today at 5 p.m.

Mae Bacelli and Hadley Krug each had two hits Monday for Salamanca, which pounded out 12 hits and drew nine walks.

Charli Ross picked up her fourth win of the season with a strong performance in the circle, allowing six hits and striking out six while walking four. Ross settled down after giving up three runs in the top of the first inning.
