Pioneer eliminates Fredonia 33-6 in Class C semifinals

No. 3 Pioneer eliminated No. 2 Fredonia from the Section VI Class C flag football postseason with a 33-6 victory Wednesday at the Orange Bowl. Natalia DiPalma led the Hillbillies with 95 yards rushing and their only touchdown. Megan Ivory had seven flag pulls, including three for a loss, and two sacks; Mikaela Sciarrino also had seven flag pulls; and Elizabeth Morris had five flag pulls, including one for a loss, and a sack. Fredonia’s season ends with a 12-2 overall record. Pioneer will take on No. 1 Depew for the sectional title Saturday at Williamsville North High School.
