The Babe Ruth 13-Year-Old World Series gets underway today at Diethrick Park in Jamestown. Stamford, Connecticut, and Broomall-Newtown, Pennsylvania, open the tournament at 11 a.m., followed by Stevens Point, Wisconsin, and Eagle Pass, Texas, at 1:30 p.m. At 4:30 p.m., Tallahassee, Florida, will take on Australia. After opening ceremonies at 7 p.m., the host team will take on Centennial, Colorado.
