CASSADAGA — Brenton Wilcox finds himself with a familiar title — Cassadaga Country Club champion.

For the eighth time he secured that honor, courtesy of a two-day total of 4-over 144 last weekend.

On the first day, Wilcox and Jason Anderson were tied at 2-over 72. Tied for third one shot bck were Tim Bulger and Scott Jagoda.

After the final round, the top three finishers were two shots apart. One shot back at 145 and in second place was Anderson, while defending champion Jagoda secured third place with a 146 total.

In the Men’s First Flight, Bob Warsitz led throughout to win with a 164. Rounding out the top three were Sean Egan with a 166 and Adam Morello with a 169.

Jocelyn Wintersteen successfully defended her Women’s Club Championship by leading wire to wire and finishing with a 155. Sydnee Hoffman and Jodi Hoffman rounded out the top-three finishers.

In the Senior Men’s Championship, Don Meder claimed his first title with a 158, followed by Chip White at 168 and defending champion Mike Lawhead with 170.
