Chautauqua Lake volleyball rolls Lake Shore
MAYVILLE — Kinslee Motter recorded 15 kills in Chautauqua Lake’s nonleague volleyball sweep against Lake Shore 25-21, 25-13, 25-11 on Wednesday night.
Gracie Gerring added three kills and a block for the Eagles (5-1). Makenna Smith had eight digs and three aces while Karagan Fairbank dealt out 26 assists, five aces, four digs and a block.
The Chautauqua Lake jayvees also won.
TRASK-LED FALCONER PREVAILS
FALCONER — Reagan Trask handed out 20 assists to go along with five digs and two aces as Falconer beat nonleague Panama 25-14, 25-14, 25-15.
Hannah Melquist chipped in 13 assists to go along with eight kills, 20 digs and four aces; Emily Zaranek had a team-high 11 kills to go along with eight digs; Mylie Zaranek had nine kills, 13 digs and two aces; and Nylah Sharpe had 10 digs and two aces for the Golden Falcons (7-1).
For the Panthers (3-4), Annie Becker had five kills and nine digs; Alexa Becker had 12 digs; and Kiera Loberg had 13 assists, seven digs, two kills and a block.
TROJANS SWEEP
DUNKIRK — Madi Burnett delivered six aces and nine kills in Southwestern’s Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association Division 1 sweep of Dunkirk 25-13, 25-23, 25-16.
Gianna Sirianni added four aces and three kills for the Trojans (4-3, 2-2). Elise Kartesz handed out 10 assists and two aces; Reagan Stutzman had three aces and two blocks; and Claire Kautzman had four digs.
Dunkirk fell to 1-7 overall and 0-5 in league.
OLEAN TRIPS UP FREDONIA
FREDONIA — Ari Finch had 38 assists and seven aces for Olean in a 26-28, 25-11, 25-10, 25-23 Division 1 victory over Fredonia.
Viktoriia Lozynska had nine kills while Haylie Bednarski had 11 kills and 13 digs for the Huskies (4-1, 3-1).
Londyn Wilmot had 15 kills, 12 digs and two blocks; Jordan Morris had four kills and a block; and Sidalee Lewis had four aces and six digs for the Hillbillies (2-4, 1-2).
