Frewsburg beats Silver Creek/Forestville 7-1 in Division 3

SILVER CREEK — Frewsburg scored early and often on Monday to beat Silver Creek/Forestville 7-1 in a Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association Division 3 girls soccer game at Silver Creek High School.
Frewsburg (9-1-0, 6-0-0) scored six times in the first half without surrendering a goal. Audrey Eckwahl scored four goals and Jaden Jimerson added two in the opening 40 minutes. Rozlyn Haglund, Presleigh Stelmack, Brook Lee and Ellie Cappa each had an assist for the Bears.
Eckwahl scored Frewsburg’s final goal — her 17th of the season — shortly after the intermission to increase the lead to 7-0.
Silver Creek/Forestville (5-5-1, 2-3-1) got on the board shortly afterward, on a penalty kick from Meadow Azzarella. The goal was set up thanks to a hand ball in the box off of a corner kick by Abby Cook.
Elysse Gruber made four saves and Charlie Lombardo made three for the Bears. Eliza Mahaney made seven saves for the Black Knights.

TONELLI GUIDES FREDONIA TO WIN
JAMESTOWN — Cecelia Tonelli scored both goals to raise her season total to 17 as Fredonia blanked Jamestown 2-0 in Division 1 play at Strider Field.
Tonelli scored from Callie Draggett in the fifth minute and then scored unassisted in the 21st minute for the Hillbillies (7-3-1, 4-3-1).
“They got two quick ones and we just didn’t recover from that,” Jamestown head coach Jason Kathman said. “We played a strong second half. We had plenty of opportunities.”
The Red & Green directed 10 shots at the Fredonia goal, but Naomi Muck stopped every one for her fifth clean sheet.

“We were putting pressure on them,” Kathman said, “but their keeper was fantastic.”
JaLeiya Glover made five saves in net for Jamestown (0-10-1, 0-7-1).
RANDOLPH’S BOWLES
NETS HAT TRICK
RANDOLPH — Gianna Bowles netted a hat trick to raise her season goal total to 22 as Randolph blanked Franklinville 10-0 in Division 2 action.
Ella Monroe had a goal and three assists; Serena Smith had a goal and two assists; Kyler Patterson, Hannah Hill and Jade McMaster each had a goal and an assist; Grace Arnold-Hill and Ava Sears each had a goal; and Jenna Anderson had an assist for the Cardinals (9-1-0, 6-0-0). Harper Russell was credited with the clean sheet in net.
The Panthers fell to 1-8-0 overall and 0-5-0 in the league.
BUNDY POSTS CLEAN SHEET
WESTFIELD — Avery Swank’s goal in the 13th minute of the game held up as the winner as Westfield/Brocton beat North Collins 1-0 in Division 3 play.
Colie Bundy made nine saves in the clean sheet for the Wolverines (6-2-2, 3-1-2).
The Eagles fell to 4-5-2 overall and 1-4-1 in the league.
BRAMER SCORES OT WINNER
CATTARAUGUS — Talon Bramer scored twice, including the game-winning goal in the second minute of overtime as Cattaraugus-Little Valley edged Salamanca 2-1 in Division 2 action.
Bramer scored from Rebekah Butcher in the 43rd minute to make it 1-0 before Addy Earley answered from Eloise Brown as the Warriors (4-6-0, 4-2-0) tied the game in the 62nd minute.
Emma West made 19 saves for the Timberwolves (5-6-0, 3-3-0).
MURRAY TALLIES HAT TRICK
ELLICOTTVILLE — Eliza Murray poured in a hat trick to help Ellicottville get past Pine Valley/Gowanda 6-0 in Division 2 play.
Juliana O’Connell, Makayla Potter and Cayda Kruszynski each added a goal while Delaney Myers, Ella Weber, Juleana Lyon, Teaghan Finn and Ainsley Edwards each had an assist for the Eagles (6-4-0, 4-2-0). Ady Andrews was credited with the clean sheet.
The Panthers fell to 0-9-0 overall and 0-4-0 in the league.
GOLDEN COUGARS BLANK OLEAN
OLEAN — Julianna Roth scored two goals and added an assist to lead Falconer/Cassadaga Valley/Maple Grove past Olean 5-0.
Mary Lundmark opened the scoring from Roth in the fifth minute before Roth made it 2-0 in the 16th minute.
After halftime, Kylie Kress scored from Madilyn Seastrum in the 43rd minute, Roth scored unassisted in the 62nd minute and Emilee Chapman scored her first varsity goal from Sydnee Snow in the final minute.
Ellyson Baglia and Adarah Egan split the clean sheet in net for the Golden Cougars (6-3-0, 6-1-0).
Lilah Armstrong made 14 saves for the Huskies (1-9-1, 0-7-1).
