Silver Creek/Forestville tops Pine Valley/Gowanda 4-1 in boys soccer action

SILVER CREEK — Alan Hoelzle, Nate Mays and Ryan Cook each had a goal and an assist to lead Silver Creek/Forestville past Pine Valley/Gowanda 4-1 in nonleague boys soccer Monday.

Hoelzle opened the scoring from Mays in the fifth minute before Ryan Cook scored from Hoelzle in the 22nd minute for the Black Knights (3-1-0).

Mays scored Silver Creek/Forestville’s third goal from Rowan Sebouhian in the 26th minute and Jayden Core scored from Ryan Cook in the 31st minute.

Aaron Cook made 13 saves in net for the Black Knights.

The Panthers fell to 0-3-0 overall.
