WESTFIELD — Braylon Swanson had four goals and two assists to lead Westfield/Brocton to an 8-0 shutout of Silver Creek/Forestville in Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association Division III boys soccer victory Saturday at the NorthLake Family Recreation Complex.

Caleb Stoughton, Christian Morello, George Chapman and Anthony Gatto each added a goal for the Wolverines (8-2-0, 4-0-0). Parker Gambino had three assists while Stoughton and Chapman each had one.

The Black Knights fell to 4-6-0 overall and 1-4-0 in the league.

ARIF SCORES WINNER

ELLICOTTVILLE — Neshwan Arif’s goal in the 69th minute sent Fredonia past Ellicottville/Franklinville 2-1 in nonleague play.

Ryan Koopman scored from Arif in the 26th minute as the Hillbillies (7-1-2) took a 1-0 lead.

The Eagles (4-3-3) answered eight minutes later when Teddy Edwards scored from Rian Johnson.

KRAFT, OSTE HAVE BIG DAY

ELLERY — Ty Kraft and Ty Oste each had hat tricks as Maple Grove shut out Frewsburg 8-0 in nonleague play.

Kraft scored twice and had an assist while Oste had all three of his goals and an assist during a 5-0 first half for the Red Dragons (5-3-0). Rodrigo Delgadillo also had an assist in the opening 40 minutes.

After the break, Baker Johnson scored from Kraft, Kraft scored unassisted and Aaden Dent scored unassisted.

The Bears fell to 0-8-0 overall.
