Westfield volleyball downs Panama 3-1

PANAMA — Nahlia Douglas tallied 13 kills, six digs and two aces as Westfield held off Panama 25-23, 25-23, 11-25, 25-15 for a Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association Division 3 volleyball win Tuesday.

Avery Smith added 12 kills and nine digs for the Wolverines (5-0, 1-0). Maddie Burgess had three kills, 32 assists, three digs and two aces; Mackenzie Schumaker delivered 10 kills, two assists and four digs; and Molly Burgess had 20 digs.

Panama (2-3, 0-1) was led by Kiera Loberg with five kills, 26 assists, six digs and four aces; Sophie Hummel had six kills, two digs and an ace; and Mckenna Kolstee added nine kills.

SHERMAN WINS FIRST MATCH

SHERMAN — Emmersen Crawford had seven kills, three aces and two blocks to lead Sherman to its first victory of the season, 25-20, 25-23, 25-6 over North Collins in Division 4 play.

Caylee Pinzok had eight assists and two aces; Madison Emory had three aces and a kill; and Carlie Gable seven digs and an ace for the Wildcats (1-5, 1-0).

The Eagles fell to 0-6 overall and 0-1 in the league.

PIRATES SWEEP FORESTVILLE

FORESTVILLE — Lily Johnson scored two aces, seven kills and five digs as Clymer swept Forestville 25-16, 25-11, 25-19 in Division 4 action.

Harleigh Faulkner added three aces, five kills, a block and a dig for the Pirates (2-3, 1-0). Addie Wiggers had a dig and 11 assists; Keira Kinal had six aces, three kills and two assists; and Elli Bodamer contributed two aces, three kills and 11 digs.

Forestville (0-3, 0-1) was led by Iris Muck with six blocks and Emily Lillie had eight digs.

LAKE COASTS

MAYVILLE — Brina Jacobson had seven digs, seven kills and three aces as Chautauqua Lake downed Southwestern 25-13, 25-22, 25-14 in nonleague action.

Karagan Fairbank dealt out 33 assists and four kills for the Eagles (3-1). Noli Paddock had three assists and seven kills; Jeanine Group had five kills and three digs; and Kinslee Motter contributed 15 kills.

Southwestern (3-2, 1-2 CCAA 1) was led by Elise Kartesz with a kill and 10 assists; Madi Burnett had five kills and a block; Claure Kautzman picked up 12 digs; and Gianna Sirianni added eight digs.

LACKI SHINES AT SERVICE LINE

SINCLAIRVILLE — Kailee Lacki provided 24 service points, including five aces, to lead Cassadaga Valley past Pine Valley 25-14, 25-12, 25-16 in Division 4.

Maddie Debo provided four kills and five blocks for the Cougars (3-3, 1-0). Lexi Pattyson had four kills and two blocks; Breonna Hopkins had two kills and three blocks; and Melanie Miles contributed 11 assists.

Pine Valley (0-6, 0-1) was led by Madi Robertson with two kills, nine assists, three aces and seven digs; Cam Rhinehart with three kills and five digs; and Ava West with five kills and five digs.
