MAYVILLE — Ava Sears scored a hat trick to lift Randolph past Chautauqua Lake 4-1 in nonleague girls soccer action on Friday.

Gianna Bowles scored once and picked up two assists for the Cardinals (14-1), while Ella Monroe had one assist. Harper Russell made six saves in the win.

Chautauqua Lake (4-11) opened the scoring in the first half with a goal from Karie Tarr assisted by Avery Cannon. Lucy Gates was called upon for 23 saves by the Eagles.
