Silver Creek/Forestville gets past Chautauqua Lake girls 1-0
MAYVILLE — Carilene Sliwa’s goal from Meadow Azzarella in the 30th minute was enough as Silver Creek/Forestville beat Chautauqua Lake 1-0 in Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association Division 3 girls soccer Wednesday evening.
Eliza Mahaney made seven saves in the clean sheet for the Black Knights (6-5-1, 3-3-1).
The Eagles fell to 4-6-0 overall and 4-3-0 in the league.

FIRST WIN
JAMESTOWN — Kinslee Berg scored twice and Jamestown kept a clean sheet as it defeated Olean 4-0 in Division 1 action at Strider Field.
Payton Gibbs assisted the first two goals for the Red & Green, while Anna Engquist scored the second and Taylyn Kendall had the final goal, which was assisted by Amy Noll. JaLeiya Glover made six saves in net as she recorded her first clean sheet for Jamestown (1-10-1, 1-7-1).
Lilah Armstrong and Audrey Hoffman split 14 saves for the Huskies (1-10-1, 0-8-1).
GATORS BLANK GOLDEN COUGARS
ALLEGANY — Kennedy Honeck’s first-half goal is all Allegany-Limestone needed as it knocked off Falconer/Cassadaga Valley/Maple Grove 2-0 in Division 1 play.
Cait Conroy added a late insurance goal assisted by Kendall Lemon in the 75th minute and Kenna MacArthur made seven saves for the clean sheet by the Gators (5-6-2, 5-2-2).
Ellyson Baglia made four saves for Falconer/Cassadaga Valley/Maple Grove (6-4-0, 6-2-0).
ECKWAHL POWERS FREWSBURG
BROCTON — Audrey Eckwahl scored four goals and delivered an assist as Frewsburg shut out Westfield/Brocton 5-0 in Division 3 action.
Presleigh Stelmack scored the first goal of the game for the Bears, while both Jaden Jimerson and Ellie Cappa recorded one assist. Frewsburg relied on Elysse Gruber for three saves in the shutout.
Abrianna Newell and Colie Bundy combined for 10 saves for the Wolverines (6-3-2, 3-2-2).
T’WOLVES EDGE FRANKLINVILLE
FRANKLINVILLE — Talon Bramer scored twice to lead Cattaraugus-Little Valley to a 3-1 Division 2 victory over Franklinville.
Bramer scored her goals from Rebekah Butcher and Candice Brown while Brown added an unassisted goal of her own. Emma West made eight saves in net for the Timberwolves (6-6-0, 4-3-0).
Mya Sullivan scored from Lainey Dunlap and Kierra Knoblach made eight saves for the Panthers (1-9-0, 0-6-0).
BRAY’S GOAL ENOUGH FOR PORTVILLE
PORTVILLE — Allie Bray scored from Grace Gariepy in the 12th minute of the game as Portville blanked Southwestern 1-0 in Division 1 action.
The Panthers improved to 7-2-1 overall and 5-2-1 in the league with the win.
The Trojans fell to 7-5-0 overall and 6-3-0 in the league with the loss.
WARRIORS EXPLODE FOR 9 GOALS
SALAMANCA — Ellouise Brown netted a hat trick and Arleigh Chudy had two goals to lead Salamanca to a 9-0 shutout of Pine Valley/Gowanda in Division 2 action.
Addy Earley, Gwyn Emborsky, Brielle Massagli and Sophia Hodara each scored a goal for the Warriors (5-6-0, 5-2-0) while Ireland Fidurko had two assists and Ella Crouse, Myla Galante, Sophie Slater and Avianna Stahlman each had one. Kendra Bova Redeye made one save in the clean sheet.
The Panthers fell to 0-10-0 overall and 0-5-0 in the league.
DUNKIRK, NORTH COLLINS TIE
DUNKIRK — Celeste Bautista was credited with 25 saves as Dunkirk played to a 0-0 Division 3 tie with North Collins.
The Marauders are now 2-8-1 overall and 0-6-1 in the league.
The Eagles are now 4-5-3 overall and 1-4-2 in the league.
RANDOLPH TRIMS ELLICOTTVILLE
RANDOLPH — Ella Monroe had a goal and an assist to lead Randolph past Ellicottville 2-0 in Division 2 play.
Monroe scored from Serena Smith in the first half and set up Gianna Bowles’ goal in the second half for the Cardinals (10-1-0, 7-0-0). Harper Russell made five saves in the clean sheet.
Ady Andrews made nine saves for the Eagles (6-5-0, 4-3-0).
