BROCTON — Westfield staved off a Brocton comeback in five sets, 25-17, 25-18, 20-25, 22-25, 15-12, to remain undefeated in Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association Division 3 volleyball on Tuesday.

The Wolverines (9-0, 4-0) were led by Nahlia Douglas with eight kills, four digs and an ace, Maddie Burgess made 28 assists, four digs and an ace and Avery Smith scored 15 kills, five digs and three aces.

Brocton (6-2, 2-2) was powered by Evie Morrison with 26 kills, 12 digs, one assist and an ace and Grace Lundin had 25 digs and three aces.

The Brocton jayvees won 2-1.

PANTHERS EDGE MAPLE GROVE

BEMUS POINT — Lilly Hyde made seven kills, four digs and four aces as Panama edged Maple Grove 25-23, 26-24, 25-15 in Division 3.

Kiera Loberg added four kills and 16 assists for the Panthers (5-6, 1-2) and Sophie Hummel made four kills and an ace.

Maple Grove (9-3, 3-2) was led by Mady Haglund with 16 assists, nine digs and two aces, Zoey Foley made seven kills, 11 digs and two aces, Bry Cornell scored seven kills and two aces and Kendall Danielson made four aces.

The Red Dragons won the jayvees matchup.

WILDCATS RALLY PAST HORNETS

FORESTVILLE — Emmersen Crawford scored eight aces, seven kills, a block and two digs as Sherman rallied past Forestville 10-25, 25-15, 17-25, 25-23, 15-9 in Division 4.

Madison Emory added three aces, two kills and three digs for the Wildcats (3-7, 3-2), Carlie Gable had six aces, four kills and seven digs and Natalie Kranz made three aces, one kill and four digs.

Forestville (1-5, 1-3) was led by Iris Muck with three aces, nine kills and nine blocks, Ava Gruber had five aces and two blocks and Elizabeth Case scored three aces, eight assists, a kill and a block.

PIRATES SWEEP PINE VALLEY

SOUTH DAYTON — Elli Bodamer had eight digs, five kills, two aces and a block while Clymer swept Pine Valley 25-23, 25-16, 25-22 in Division 4.

Mikaela Jackson provided six kills and an ace for the Pirates (6-5, 5-0), Harleigh Faulkner made three kills, five aces and a dig and Addie Wiggers dealt 10 assists.

Pine Valley (0-10, 0-5) was led by Ava West with three aces, 11 digs, a block and six kills, Madi Robertson made two aces, nine digs and eight assists, Breanna Snyder made 11 digs and an assist and Cameron Rinehart had three aces, eight digs, an assist and three kills.

The Clymer jayvees won.

COUGARS DOWN NORTH COLLINS

NORTH COLLINS — Melanie Myles made 12 assists, scored three points on three aces and had four digs as Cassadaga Valley downed North Collins 25-20, 25-17, 25-20 in Division 4.

Madison Debo provided five points with four aces, had three kills, a block and six digs for the Cougars (6-4, 4-1). Then Payton Meder added six kills and Adrianna Myers made nine digs in the victory.

North Collins falls to 1-10 overall and 1-4 in league.
