Wolverines finish perfect league season

WESTFIELD — Braylon Swanson scored a goal and collected an assist and Westfield/Brocton upended Chautauqua Lake 3-1 to finish undefeated in Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association Division III play on Thursday.

Westfield/Brocton (13-3-0, 8-0-0) added goals from Parker Gambino and Caleb Stoughton in the final 12 minutes, while Tahner Stow assisted the first tally.

Chautauqua Lake stands at 8-6-0 overall and 3-5-0 in league.

FREEMAN SHINES FOR RANDOLPH

SOUTH DAYTON — Cooper Freeman scored six goals and made five assists as Randolph defeated Pine Valley/Gowanda 11-0 to finish with an undefeated record in Division II action.

Isaac Pihlblad added a goal and two assists for Randolph, Malachi Brown, Cypress Milks and Gavin Richardson had a goal each, while Gavin Senn, Jayden Champlin, Dallas Finch and Grady Steward each picked up one assist. Randall Nottingham and Preston Swan had a save each in the clean sheet effort.

Pine Valley/Gowanda finished the regular season with a 1-15-0 overall record and 1-9-0 league record.

MARAUDERS WIN IN OVERTIME

DUNKIRK — Victor Millan scored in the 99th minute to lift Dunkirk past Olean in double overtime of Division I action at Karl Hoeppner Field.

Millan scored the final two goals for the Marauders (9-6-1, 5-4-1), while Josh Lemanski scored and picked up an assist, Ismael Santiago scored the first goal and both Alexander Biscaro and Naisaih Rodriguez made one assist.

Olean falls to 3-13-0 overall and 1-9-0 in league.

HULING SETS UP GOLDEN COUGARS WIN

SALAMANCA — Jakub Huling made two assists that lifted Cassadaga Valley/Falconer past Salamanca 2-0 in Division II action.

Gavin Penhollow scored the first goal for the Golden Cougars (5-10-1, 4-5-1), while Nathan Cieplinski provided the insurance tally.

Salamanca finished the season 1-15-0 overall and 1-9-0 in league.
