Fearless Freddie’s Football Forecast
MOMENTUM. If the Buffalo Bills want to repeat as AFC East champions, they need to start winning games on the road.
It starts tonight in Houston where the Texans boast the league’s top defense.
Over the next few weeks, the Bills then will have critical showdowns with New England, Pittsburgh, Cleveland and defending Super Bowl champion Philadelphia, among others.
Expect the Bills to eventually solve the Houston defense tonight and the defense to take advantage of the absence of starting Texan quarterback C. J. Stroud due to a continuing concussion protocol.
Oh, and reigning league MVP Josh Allen is a perfect 8-0 in his career on Thursday nights.
FREDDIE sees it this way:
Bills 30, TEXANS 28
HOME teams are capitalized. Teams picked to win the game are listed first, followed by the expected margin of victory. The official Las Vegas odds are in parentheses.
