M&T gives gift to support hospital
Westfield Memorial Hospital Foundation (WMHF) Executive Director Patricia Gaughan DiPalma and WMHF President Dr. Kathryn S. Bronstein accept a $5,000 grant from The M&T Charitable Foundation. The check was presented by Kate Fryberger, M&T Bank Assistant Vice President and Mayville Branch Manager along with Jamie Gustafson, M&T Business Banking Senior Relationship Manager. The gift will help fund much-needed treadmills and elliptical bicycles in the AHN Westfield Hospital Physical Therapy Department – often lauded as one of the community’s favorite services.
The Westfield Memorial Hospital Foundation announced it has received a $5,000 grant from The M&T Charitable Foundation to purchase new equipment for the hospital’s Physical Therapy Department.
This generous gift will help enhance the quality of care for patients who rely on physical therapy services to recover from an injury, surgery, or illness. The gift to be used in the funding of new equipment will allow AHN Westfield therapists to provide more effective and comfortable treatment options, helping patients get back to their everyday lives more quickly and safely.
“We are so grateful to The M&T Charitable Foundation for their generosity and continued commitment to supporting healthcare in our community,” said WMHF Executive Director Patricia Gaughan DiPalma. This donation will make a real difference in the lives of our patients and the families we serve.”
