BUSTI — The World of Outlaws Real American Beer Late Model Series presented by DIRTVision is set to return to the “Empire State” in 2026 with a midweek showdown at Stateline Speedway.

The Busti, New York facility will host The Most Powerful Late Models on the Planet on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, for the Rick Briggs Memorial, honoring the former racer and father of current World of Outlaws team owner, Boom Briggs.

“My dad raced for a long time, he was a big supporter of Chub Frank when he went to the World of Outlaws, and then when I went there later on,” Briggs said. “He passed away in 2017, and we just never figured out a right way to do it. Thanks to Dave Warren and everyone at Stateline Speedway, it was their idea. It’s a good thing for my family that my dad gets the recognition for what he’s done for the sport, how he participated in it. I think there’s going to be a lot of excitement up there. It’s the first one we’ve ever done, so there will be a lot of family there. I think it’s going to be pretty cool.”

The $15,000-to-win, $1,200-to-start event will be the eighth World of Outlaws race held at Stateline since the inaugural visit in 2005. In total, seven different winners have claimed the seven Series races at Stateline, including John Blankenship (2005), Dick Barton (2006), Shane Clanton (2013), Brandon Sheppard (2018), Max Blair (2019), Dave Hess Jr. (2021) and Nick Hoffman (2023).
