Oehlbeck hits 9 3’s in Sherman girls win

CLYMER — Baya Oehlbeck was hot from downtown Tuesday night as she drained nine 3-pointers and scored 29 points to lift Sherman past Clymer 51-33 in Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association Division 2 girls basketball action.

Emmersen Crawford provided another 14 points, seven assists, two blocks and seven rebounds for the Wildcats (1-3, 1-1). Madison Emory had six steals, Carlie Gable four assists, Natalie Kranz six boards, and both Oehbeck and Ava-Kay Irwin collected four rebounds.

Clymer (2-2, 0-2) was led by Alyssa Pratt with 14 points and four rebounds. Elli Bodamer hauled in 10 boards and dished out three assists, Hannidy Goetzinger collected six rebounds, and Harleigh Faulkner had four rebounds.

SALAMANCA — Kynleigh Wass had 15 points, six rebounds, five assists and four steals to lead Salamanca to a 55-29 Division 1 win over Dunkirk.

Myla Galante had 9 points and seven rebounds while Makenzie Crouse chipped in 7 points and six rebounds for the Warriors (2-2, 1-0).

Emaladie Pacheco had 15 points to lead the Marauders (0-5, 0-2).

OLEAN — Alaina Hirliman had 22 points, including five 3-pointers, to lead Olean past Fredonia 37-34 in Division 1 play

Jabreyah Brown had 8 points and nine rebounds while Viktoriia Lazyska added nine rebounds for the Huskies (2-3, 1-1).

Isabella Buckley led the Hillbillies (2-3, 0-1) with 13 points and Naomi Muck had 10.

SILVER CREEK TRIMS EAGLES

NORTH COLLINS — Meadow Azzarella scored 13 points to lead Silver Creek to a 33-24 nonleague win over North Collins.
