Sherman surges past Pine Valley in boys hoops 72-34
SOUTH DAYTON — Cal Cook drained 21 points with five steals, three boards and an assist to lead Sherman past Pine Valley 72-34 in nonleague boys basketball action on Tuesday.
Talon Persons provided another 12 points, four assists, four steals and a block for the Wildcats (1-0, 0-0), Jacob Ferranto had 11 points, six rebounds, four assists, three steals and two blocks and Riley Johnson collected 12 boards with three assists.
Pine Valley (0-1, 0-1) was led by Andres Morillas with 10 points.
