Trojans power past Falconer girls; Knights roll Panthers
FALCONER — Marlana Cresanti had a double-double with 11 points, 10 rebounds, five assists and seven steals to lead Southwestern past Falconer 79-26 in Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association Division 1 girls basketball action on Thursday.
Gianna Sirianni paced the Southwestern (4-1, 3-0) offense with 18 points and five assists, Braya Beaver scored 14, Charlotte Beaver provided 17 and Jada Edwards had 15 points with eight steals and seven rebounds.
Falconer (2-3, 0-1) was led by Addison Calimeri with 8 points and eight rebounds, while Sydnee Snow dealt three assists.

SOUTH DAYTON — Gracelin Stevens scored 18 points as Silver Creek downed Pine Valley 47-28 in nonleague action.
MaLayah Eldridge added 12 points for the Black Knights (6-2).
Pine Valley (0-5) was led by Sandy Ivett with a double-double, scoring 17 points with 10 rebounds and four steals. Brooke Smith added five more steals for the Panthers, while Aubree Ellis had 12 rebounds and Lily Hohl hauled in eight.
