Fredonia girls win at Lucky Lanes, boys fall to Falconer

FREDONIA — The Falconer boys swept Fredonia in Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association Division 1 bowling action at Lucky Lanes on Thursday.

The Falconer boys (22-2) had a linescore of 882-865-949-2,696. The Hillbillies (9-15) had a linescore of 730-812-796-2,338.

Tyler Swanson led Falconer with a 267-605, Erik Stenstrom had a 205-199-575, Joshua Lincoln rolled a 200 while Aiden Peters added a 179.

Luka Paoletta led Fredonia with a 200-182-554, Wyatt Tresler had a 181-190 and Robert Harrington added a 170.

The Fredonia girls managed to flip the script, sweeping the Golden Falcons with a linescore of 691-652-643-1,986 to 597-506-553-1,656.

Londyn Wilmot paced the Hillbillies (10.5-12.5) with 225-167-554, Sydney Yerico converted 19 of 25 spares on her way to 186-505 and Emma DuBois rolled 168-181-503.

Falconer (7-17) was led by Alexi Cross, rolling 231-180-567.

HORNETS SWEEP CARDINALS

FREDONIA — Alexander Lucas rolled 197-208-223-628 to lead the Forestville boys past Randolph in Division 2 at Lucky Lanes.

The Hornets posted a scoreline of 722-873-770-2,365 to Randolph’s 543-421-531-1,495.

Troy Muck provided another 211-203-575 for the Hornets (17-15) and Tucker Merritt tossed 184-237-581.

Randolph (0-36) was led by Emmett Youngberg with the high series.

The Forestville girls also swept with a linescore of 618-626-550-1,794 to Randolph’s 344-429-339-1,112.

The Hornets (22-2) were led by Emily Lillie with 177-183-179-539 and Alexandra Kerstetter rolled 203-528.

Shelby Whitford rolled the high series for Randolph (1-19).

EAGLES EDGE WESTFIELD BOYS

CUTTING — Dayne Jantzi rolled 167-166-477 as the Chautauqua Lake boys swept Westfield in Division 2 at Cutting Lanes.

The Eagles (21-11) posted a scoreline of 708-685-669-2,062 to Westfield’s 705-678-660-2,043.

Alanna Delcamp provided a 462 series for the Eagles.

Westfield (17-15) was led by Tahner Stow rolling 170-172-182-524 and Seth Zielinski hit 186-474.
