Panama girls keep pace with D2 win over Maple Grove
ELLERY — Kiera Loberg scored 22 points to lead Panama past Maple Grove in Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association Division 2 action Thursday.
McKenna Kolstee provided a double-double for the Panthers (10-4, 6-1) with 14 points, 10 boards and four steals; Jessica Lyon scored 11; Brooke Warner had four steals; and Kiersten Olson dealt four assists.
Maple Grove (6-5, 2-4) was led by Bry Cornell with a double-double, scoring 14 points, 17 rebounds, six steals and three assists, Meg Ryan and Alex Halstrom provided 11 points each and Morgan Caldwell had five steals.

WARRIORS SHUT DOWN FALCONER
FALCONER — Makenzie Crouse scored 12 points, grabbed nine rebounds and made two blocks as Salamanca locked down Falconer for a 48-18 Division 1 victory.
Kynleigh Wass added 9 points, four assists and four rebounds for Salamanca (9-4, 5-1) and Arabelle Reynolds nabbed five steals.
Falconer (5-9, 3-4) was led by Alyssa Howard with 7 points.

PORTVILLE — Portville limited Randolph to just one field goal in the overtime period and got by with a 53-47 Division 3 victory.
The Panthers (6-4, 2-2) were led by Addison Isaman with six 3-pointers for 18 points and Emma Rhinehart added another 11.
Randolph (6-4, 2-2) was led by Gianna Bowles with 20 points, six rebounds, three assists, four steals and a block, Ava Sears provided a double-double with 13 points, 11 boards, five assists and seven steals, Tessa Brown had five boards and five steals, Ryanne Bushey had five rebounds, two assists and two steals, Hannah Hill reeled in nine rebounds and Maria Stone dealt a block.

MAYVILLE — Kaylee Tarr scored 12 points and grabbed nine rebounds to lead Chautauqua Lake past Clymer 46-33 in Division 2.
Brina Jacobson, Kendra Tarr and Cam Mackey grabbed three steals each for Chautauqua Lake (8-5, 3-3).
Elli Bodamer posted a double-double for Clymer (3-6, 1-5) with 14 points, 10 rebounds and two blocks, while Hannidy Goetzinger grabbed seven boards and Harleigh Faulkner dealt four assists.

BEARS DOWN COUGARS
FREWSBURG — Frewsburg used a big second quarter to propel it to a 61-35 Division 2 victory over Cassadaga Valley.
Sparked by 9 points from Jadyn Trocki, the Bears (9-1, 4-0) outscored the Cougars (6-4, 2-2) 17-2 to build a 31-11 lead at halftime. The hosts cruised from there.
Abery Harvey led Frewsburg with 19 points, nine rebounds and five assists; Trocki added 13 points, six steals and four assists; and Jaden Jimerson scored 12 points, hauled in seven boards and dished out five assists.
For Cassadaga Valley, Breonna Hopkins scored 17 points, grabbed 10 rebounds and collected three steals, and Payton Meder had seven rebounds.
