Sherman holds off Forestville boys
FORESTVILLE — Sherman went 9 of 12 from the foul line in the fourth quarter to close out a 58-52 nonleague boys basketball win over Forestville on Wednesday.
Jake Ferranto led the Wildcats (5-1) with 21 points to go along with eight rebounds and hit a 3-pointer late in the fourth quarter to help preserve the lead.
Cal Cook had 19 points — 11 in the second half — and Kasen Goree had 11 points — 8 in the second half — for Sherman. They each hit three 3-pointers. Troy Chambers grabbed seven rebounds in the win.
Patrick Reilly led the Hornets (4-2) with 23 points; Dom Anders grabbed 10 rebounds, Will Duliba scored 10 points; and Manny Sanchez had four steals and three assists.

GRAVES KNOCKS DOWN WINNER
PANAMA — Kiedon Graves hit a 3-pointer to break a 46-all tie in the final minute and Panama held on to beat Maple Grove 49-46 in Division 2 action.
“We found the open person and that was Kiedon Graves,” Panama head coach Josh Nelson said. “He hit the biggest 3 of the night.”
The Red Dragons (2-6, 1-2) had a chance to tie the game in the final 30 seconds, but could not get an open look until an off-balance attempt missed in the closing seconds.
“We played one really good possession defensively,” Nelson said.
Konner Morgan led the Panthers (4-3, 1-2) with 20 points and Michael Horton had 18.
Liam Colburn paced Maple Grove with 24 points and Aiden Dahlberg had 12.
