PORTVILLE — Gowanda senior Trelin Warrior scored his 1,000th career point as Gowanda beat Portville 80-51 in Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association Division 3 boys basketball Tuesday evening.

Warrior’s milestone basket came during the third quarter en route to a team-high 21 points on the night.

Seth Geiger added 19 points and Cashis Montour had 12 for Gowanda (4-5, 1-2), who led 38-22 at halftime.

Aidan DeFazio led Portville (3-6, 2-1) with 19 points and Peyton Carter had 12.
