Westfield girls hold off Chautauqua Lake
MAYVILLE — Mackenzie Schumaker scored 13 points and collected six rebounds as the Westfield girls basketball team held off Chautauqua Lake 38-30 in Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association Division 2 action on Tuesday.
Nahlia Douglas scored 10 points and had nine rebounds for Westfield (13-5, 8-4), while Sophia Wolfe dished six assists.
Chautauqua Lake (10-7, 5-5) was led by Kendra Tarr with 11 points and eight rebounds, while Brina Jacobson collected eight rebounds, made three blocks and had two steals.

FORESTVILLE — Carilene Sliwa had 38 points, 14 steals and six assists as Forestville coasted past Pine Valley 74-11 in Division 4.
Sliwa opened the night with 9 points in the first quarter, including a buzzer-beating shot from half-court. She had 16 by halftime and 25 at the end of the third quarter.
Elizabeth Case had 16 points and 13 rebounds while Ingrid Gibson added 10 points and seven rebounds for the Hornets (10-4, 6-2).
Sandy Ivett led the Panthers (0-14, 0-7) with 6 points.

ELLERY — Bry Cornell posted another double-double with 15 points, 10 rebounds and four steals as Maple Grove pulled past Clymer in the second half for a 36-31 Division 2 victory.
Meg Ryan also provided a double-double with 12 points and 17 rebounds and Dani Trim had five boards and four assists for Maple Grove (9-9, 5-6).
Clymer (5-9, 3-7) was led by Harleigh Faulkner with 9 points.
