The Fredonia Steelers 10U travel team captured the 2025-26 Western New York Amateur Hockey League 10U White Division championship on Saturday at Cheektowaga Town Ice Rink with a thrilling 1-0 overtime victory against Hamburg Hawks 10U. The championship-winning, overtime goal was scored by Karter Bender. Team members are: Dominik Betts, Wyatt Pacanowski, Bryce Potter, Dominic Salemi, Ronan Brenecki, Grady Jimerson, Carmine Malkowski, Piper Kane, Troy Whippo, Karter Bender, Griffin Hyldahl, Carter Hennessey and Trenton Farnsworth. Coaches are: Kevin Salemi, Dave Hennessey, Jake Hyldahl and Jeff Potter.
