Recently, the Cheetah West 16 and under volleyball team competed in a 13-team tournament at the SPIRE Institute in Geneva, Ohio. Cheetah West made it to the gold bracket by defeating both SPIRE and Warren 3-0 in their pool. In the gold bracket they defeated Club Extreme 25-16, 25-19 in the quarterfinals, Kidron 25-23, 25-21 in the semifinals and Northshore 25-15, 25-14 in the finals.
