Wolfpack baseball falls to Allegany-Limestone; Panthers suffer loss against Nichols
ALLEGANY — Gavin Burchanowski led off the game with a home run for Clymer/Sherman/Panama, but the Wolfpack dropped a nonleague baseball game 8-6 to Allegany-Limestone on Wednesday.
Burchanowski finished with two hits and four stolen bases; Max White had a pair of hits; and Johnny Abers also had two hits for the Wolfpack.
PANTHERS FALL TO NICHOLS
GOWANDA — Carter Capozzi had two of Gowanda’s four hits in a 6-1 nonleague loss to Nichols.
Drew Kota and Colton Gernatt each added a single for the Panthers.
Capozzi, Tristin Luther and Aiden Geiger combined for four no-hit innings on the mound for Gowanda, but Nichols took control of the game with a four-run third inning.
