GOWANDA — After falling behind 3-0 in the top of the first inning, Gowanda scored the final 15 runs of the game to beat Franklinville 15-3 in five innings of Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association Division 3 baseball Thursday.

Carter Capozzi, Kyan Austin and Drew Kota combined to walk 10 times and came around to score after eight of those walks for Gowanda (1-2, 1-0), which drew 18 walks in the game.

Aidan Geiger, Seth Geiger and Nich Smuda each singled and drove in a run. Seth Geiger and Smuda each scored twice.

On the mound for Gowanda, Seth Geiger and Tristin Luther combined for seven strikeouts.

Landon Learn hit a two-run double and Jaiden Russell also doubled for Franklinville (0-3, 0-2).
