BUSTI — Fredonia’s Ryan and Jordan Kelly shared medalist honors with a 1-over on the par-36 course at South Hills Country Club in Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association Division 1 boys golf action Friday.

Fredonia defeated Southwestern 38.5-16.5 with Kaison Malkowski adding a round of 40 and Grant Abbey firing a 41 for the Hillbillies (2-0, 2-0). Ejuah Sarvaiyah shot the low round for Southwestern (1-2, 1-2) with a 45.

KOLSTEE EARNS MEDALIST AT CCC

CASSADAGA — Chase Kolstee went 1-under on the par-35 course at Cassadaga Country Club in Division 1 action.

Jamestown had the top four golfers en route to a 38-17 victory over Cassadaga Valley, with Kolstee shooting 34, Evan Maloney firing 35 and both Kian Volpe and Tyler Salvaggio carding a 39 for the Red & Green (7-0, 1-0). Cassadaga Valley (1-3, 0-1) was led by Jacob Huling with a 43.
