Fredonia posts boys, girls golf wins
DUNKIRK — Jamestown had the medalist, but Fredonia posted the four next best scores to remain undefeated in Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association Division 1 boys golf action with a 31.5-23.5 win on Tuesday at Shorewood Country Club.
Evan Maloney earned medalist honors for Jamestown (10-1, 4-1) finishing even on the par 36 track, while Fredonia (9-0, 5-0) received scores from Ryan Kelly 39, Grant Abbey 40 and Braiden Truby 41.

EAGLES REMAIN UNDEFEATED
CHAUTAUQUA — Chautauqua Lake/Westfield improved to 5-0 in Division 1 and 6-1 overall Tuesday following a rain-shortened match on the Lake Course at Chautauqua Golf Club.
Aden Gollhardt shot a five-hole score of 27 for the Eagles, who defeated Maple Grove 40-15 and Southwestern 28-27.
The Trojans (4-5, 2-3), who were led by Ejuah Sarvaiya’s 27, defeated the Red Dragons (0-6, 0-4) 40-15 in the other match.
Matthew Chimera and Connor Schrantz had a 36 apiece to pace Maple Grove.

FALCONER — Cam Bartman of Olean and Kale Livengood of Falconer shared medalist honors with a 43 at Breezewood Links.
As a team, the Huskies (6-2, 2-2) prevailed 32-23.

Cassadaga Valley defeated Clymer/Sherman/Panama on the rainy day 32.5-22.5 with Jakob Huling adding a 47 for the Cougars (3-5, 1-2) and Konner Morgan leading the Wolfpack (1-7, 1-3) with a 46.

DUNKIRK — Sydnee Hoffman shot a 26 through five holes at Shorewood Country Club to earn medalist honors in Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association girls golf action.
Hoffman’s 26 led Fredonia past Jamestown 35-20, while Alyssa Cusimano provided a 31 for the Red & Green (3-3, 3-3) and Abigail Czekanski added a 32 for the Hillbillies (6-1, 6-1).
