Weiskerger powers Black Knights past Pine Valley
FORESTVILLE – Rylee Weiskerger went 3 for 5 with two doubles, a home run, five RBIs and four runs scored to power Silver Creek past Pine Valley 19-3 in Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association DIvision 3 softball Saturday.
Maddy Blair went 4 for 5 with three RBIs and a run scored; Rhyana Willis was 3 for 4 with an RBI and three runs scored; Priya Sakpal went 2 for 4 with a double, two RBIs and two runs scored; Amirya Warrior was 2 for 3 with two RBIs and two runs scored; and Alexis Wicks doubled and scored a run for the Black Knights (9-3, 8-2).
Blair allowed three hits and three unearned runs while striking out seven and walking three in the circle for Silver Creek.
Taylor Postle doubled twice and scored a run for the Panthers (1-11, 1-8).
GRACIE GRANN HAS BIG DAY
DUNKIRK – Gracie Grann went 2 for 3 with a double, an RBI and three runs scored to lead Dunkirk to a 19-6 five-inning Division 1 win over Jamestown.
Paige Perry and Genesis Oquendo-Vazquez drove in two runs apiece for the Marauders (5-12, 3-9), who drew 14 walks and scored six unearned runs.
For the Red & Green (1-13, 0-12), Alyvia Remington went 2 for 3 with a double, two RBIs and two runs scored while Aiyanna Stam added two hits and two runs scored.
RYAN STRIKES OUT 10
BEMUS POINT – Meg Ryan tossed a three-hitter with 10 strikeouts and one walk as Maple Grove beat nonleague Brocton 4-1.
Savannah Rambacher went 2 for 3 with a double, an RBI and a run scored while Megan McGee doubled and drove in two runs for the Red Dragons (7-7).
Zoe Spiller doubled while Paige Miller and Sha’Nah Adams singled for the Bulldogs (2-14).
