JAMESTOWN -- The Lake Erie Jackals will be holding a 3-on-3 basketball tournament Aug. 14-16 in the city.
The event, which will be held during the Big Pitts Community Block Party, will be played at Jackson Taylor Park on 10th and Washington streets. The tournament is open to boys and girls (grades 3-12), and men and women 18-and-older. The six divisions -- 3rd-4th grade, 5th-6th grade, 7th-8th grade, 9th-12th grade, and men's and women's 18-and-older -- may be split by gender or coed based on the total team registrations.
Check-in is 3:30 p.m. Aug. 14 with games starting at 4 p.m. The deadline to register is Aug. 6. The entry fee is $120 per team. The tournament runs through 6 p.m. Aug. 16.
