ELLERY -- Ryan Cook scored the lone goal from Cody Neubauer in the 21st minute as Silver Creek/Forestville beat Maple Grove 1-0 in Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association Division III boys soccer Wednesday.
Aaron Cook made 11 saves en route to the clean sheet for the Black Knights (2-3-0, 1-2-0).
The Red Dragons fell to 1-2-1 overall and 1-1-0 in the league.
TROJANS SCORE DRAMATIC LATE GOAL
WEST ELLICOTT -- Matthew Persia scored on a free kick with 5 seconds remaining in a second 10-minute overtime as Southwestern beat Jamestown 2-1 in Division 1 action at Charles A. Lawson Field.
Hunter Kestler opened the scoring for the Trojans (3-3-0, 1-2-0) from Benjamin Kidder in the 35th minute.
The Red & Green's Dominick Jones scored from Aaden Howard in the 49th minute to make it 1-1. Jason Leenders made nine saves in goal for Jamestown (3-3-0, 2-1-0).
EAGLES TAKE KEY DII MATCHUP
RANDOLPH -- Rian Johnson scored an unassisted goal late in the first half that stood up as the winner as Ellicottville/Franklinville edged Randolph 2-1 in Division 2 play.
Tosh Klein opened the scoring from Holden Basher six minutes into the game for the Eagles (4-1-0, 2-0-0).
The Cardinals' Isaac Pihlblad scored on a penalty kick to tie the game 42 seconds prior to Johnson's go-ahead goal.
Randy Nottingham made five saves for Randolph (3-3-0, 2-1-0) and George Dick made two saves for Ellicottville/Franklinville.
HILLBILLIES EDGE OLEAN
OLEAN -- Fredonia scored a goal in each half en route to a 2-1 Division I victory over Olean.
Seth Davidson scored in the 25th minute before Ben Brautigam scored from Oliver Rittenberg in the 77th minute for the Hillbillies (2-1-1, 2-0-0). Luka Paoletta made three saves in net.
Jack Harris scored from Alex Jones for the Huskies (2-3-0, 1-2-0).
DIVISION III GAME ENDS IN DRAW
MAYVILLE -- Chautauqua Lake and North Collins played to a 1-1 draw in Division III action.
Lucas Horvath scored from Travis Horvath in the sixth minute for Chautauqua Lake (2-2-1, 1-0-1). Landon Emery made three saves in net.
Neven Sheehy scored the equalizer in the 57th minute for North Collins (1-1-2, 0-1-1). Blake Schlenker made six saves in net.
CIEPLINSKI LEADS CV/FALCONER
SINCLAIRVILLE -- Nathan Cieplinski had a goal and an assist to lead Cassadaga Valley/Falconer past Pine Valley/Gowanda 3-1 in Division II action.
Jackson Marsh scored in the 31st minute, Nathan Gilbert scored from Cieplinski in the 59th minute and Cieplinski scored in the 71st minute for the Golden Cougars (1-2-1, 1-2-0).
The Panthers fell to 0-5-0 overall and 0-2-0 in the league.
