MAYVILLE -- Brina Jacobson had 10 kills, two assists, an ace and 10 digs while Alice Scarpine added nine kills, two aces, eight digs and a block as Chautauqua Lake defeated Maple Grove 25-14, 25-8, 25-15 in Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association Division 3 volleyball Wednesday.
Kinslee Motter had six kills, two assists and five digs while Karagan Fairbank had four kills, 25 assists and four digs for the Eagles (3-0, 2-0).
Zoey Foley had two aces, three kills and seven digs; Ariyah Brown had six digs; Savannah Rambacher had eight assists; Lucy Castro had six kills and three digs; and Hailey Ullman 10 digs for the Red Dragons (1-3, 0-2).
Chautauqua Lake won the jayvee matchup.
BEGIER HANDS OUT 22 ASSISTS FOR WESTFIELD
WESTFIELD -- Shelby Begier had 22 assists and seven digs to lead Westfield past Panama 25-22, 25-23, 25-14 in Division 3 action.
Avery Smith had 11 kills and six aces; Bella Sorrento had seven kills, two blocks, five digs and two aces; and Nahlia Douglas had six kills, a block, four digs and an ace for the Wolverines (4-0, 2-0).
McKenna Kolstee had nine kills and 12 digs; Lilly Hyde had six kills, 13 digs and two aces; and Annie Becker had 22 assists, nine digs and three aces for the Panthers (2-2, 1-1).
Panama won the jayvee matchup.
COUGARS RALLY PAST PINE VALLEY
SOUTH DAYTON -- Cassadaga Valley completed its 25-22, 25-17, 25-22 Division 4 sweep over Pine Valley in dramatic fashion.
Trailing 22-14 in the final game, Kailee Lacki served 10 straight points to send the Cougars (4-1, 2-0) to the victory.
Also contributing to the win for Cassadaga Valley were Alexis Pattyson with six kills, 12 digs, seven points and three aces: Melanie Myles with 19 assists and eight points; Eliana Katilus with 17 digs; and Anna Burlingame with nine kills.
Pine Valley dropped to 3-2 overall and 0-2 in the division.
The Cougars also won the jayvee match.
BROCTON COMES BACK FROM 1-0 DEFICIT
BROCTON -- Sha'Nah Adams had 11 kills, eight assists, five digs, two blocks and two aces as Brocton defeated Silver Creek 25-27, 25-16, 25-19, 25-21 in Division 4.
Paige Miller had 10 kills, 13 assists, five digs, a block and an ace; Nevaeh Hebner had 10 digs and 10 aces; Natalie Lynch had five digs and four aces; and Sarah DiLorenzo had four kills, a dig and two aces for the Bulldogs (2-4, 1-1).
For the Black Knights (1-5, 0-2), Maddy Blair had 10 kills and three aces; Lillyana Dowling had three aces and two kills; Risa Kuppel had 15 digs; Liana Parsell had three kills; and Priya Sakpal had two kills.
Brocton won the jayvee matchup.
