DUNKIRK -- The Wednesday Travel League made the short trip to Shorewood Country Club and had its largest field of the season.
Josh Hilliker recorded a resounding victory, winning by 11 strokes, tying the league course record of 71, held by Tony Nicosia. Hilliker also led both front (35) and back (36) nines. In a three-way tie for second place with 82 were Jeff Nelson, Bob North, and Ed Tofil.
The B Flight winner was Danny Kubera. The C Flight winner was Ryan Tofil. In the C Flight, Gary Richardson was the winner after a tiebreaker with Brady Hilliker. The low round by a Senior was recorded by Ron Szach. The winner of the Bruce “Java” Chrabasz Commissioner’s Award was Bob Kujawa.

Closest to the pin were Willoughby (No.4), Calph (No.6), Dave Wallace (No.15), and Maslak (No.17- just 18 inches from the cup). Winners of the Steeplechase were Josh Hilliker (A Flight), Kubera (B), Gilray (C), and Steve Pantano (D).
